Jesus said, "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
John 16:33 NIV
Father God, you knew this world would bring me trouble. You knew there would be disappointments, grief, and pain. But you also tell me not to fear. You remind me that you have overcome the world. Help me to put my trust in you. Thank you for the gift of your Spirit abiding in me. Amen.
