Shouting To The Lord (Jeremiah 31:7; Luke 1:68) (Hope)

Zechariah could not open his mouth to be heard for nine months after the angel promised him a son. As much as he wanted to shout the good news of what God was doing in Elizabeth’s body, he was restricted from praise. But I’m sure there was a lot of praise going on inside of him. It just could not be heard anywhere but in his mind. But when his son was born, he let it all out! So in honor of the nine months of silence for Zechariah, go out today and shout, “LORD, SAVE YOUR PEOPLE.” And then shout it again!

Praise be to you, God, from whom all blessings flow! You have saved me. I am redeemed. I am favored by you. What a joyful assurance this creates in me! How can I help but sing? All thanks and praise to you, O Lord, our maker and redeemer. Amen.
