This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalm 118:24
Jesus said, "Zacchaeus, hurry and come down; for I must stay at your house today." So he hurried down and was happy to welcome him.
Luke 19:5-6
Lord, thank you for waking me to the dawn of a new day! On this day I rejoice and am glad. I welcome you into my life with excitement and joy. The day may bring difficulties, sorrows, or pain, but your joy within me gives me strength. Today, help me spread your joy to others. Amen.
