Protector Lord, thank you for being the firm foundation upon which I can stand. Forgive me when my foolish rebellion leads me away. I sink in the quicksand of the world and troubles overwhelm me. Your mighty power frees me from the grasp of the world. Help me live a victorious life of service grounded in your strength. Amen.
