The kingdom of God is not food and drink but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Romans 14:17
Holy Lord, your righteousness places me in the center of your kingdom, which fulfills my appetite for the food of this world. Forgive me for seeking peace and satisfaction in other places. Give me joy in the midst of these despairing days and bring me to the green pastures of your word. Amen.
