( Theta) His Hands (1 Chronicles 29:12 & 1 Peter 5:6)

This LENT we are providing a daily (Monday-Saturday) journaling opportunity. Journaling Day 31 April 10 Many people today feel they will never be enough no matter how hard they try. How does it feel to you that being enough is not in your hands but rather is in the hand of your Lord to make you great and to give you strength? 2. What does it mean for you to humble yourself under God’s hand? When have you done this? 3. Living with dependence on God alone is called faith. This happens when we turn over control to our Lord and let God be in charge of how things turn out in our lives. Describe how this process of turning things over to God has worked for you.

Prayer

Dear Jesus, servant leader, you died for the ungodly when we had no strength. You raised us up from the miry clay and molded us with your creative greatness. We are in your hands. Revive us again. We rely on your power in our weakness and are ready to do your will. We lift your name in thanksgiving! Amen.
