Old Testament Verse

Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.
Psalm 34:5 NIV

New Testament Verse

Jesus said, "I have set you an example, that you also should do as I have done to you."
John 13:15

Prayer

Jesus, in the light of your face, I see light! This is the radiance of forgiveness shining from your cross. Thank you, Jesus! As you forgave your captors, I can lift the darkness of shame from those I have hurt by forgiving them. Through the Holy Spirit, help me be a witness of unconditional love and grace in unexpected ways. Amen.
