IRISHCAST Christ our Refuge and Comfort (Ps 91v9_ 2 Cor 1v5)
You have made the LORD your refuge.
Psalm 91:9
For just as the sufferings of Christ are abundant for us, so also our consolation is abundant through Christ.
2 Corinthians 1:5
Jesus, you are our refuge and strength. We know that your sufferings give you understanding of the pains we endure. Thank you for consoling us with your presence in our time of sorrow and need. When I feel overwhelmed by abundant suffering, hold me in your safe hands. Use me to extend your care to others. Amen.
