Our Father of lights gives (Isaiah 45:12; James 1:17)
My hands stretched out the heavens, and all their host I have commanded.

Every generous act of giving, with every perfect gift, is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

Faithful Lord, the work of your hands is perfect. You speak and life comes forth. We praise you for your generous love in sending us the gift of Jesus. You consistently shower us with grace and favor. You are a good God. We trust in you. Thank you. Amen.
