This LENT we are providing a daily (Monday-Saturday) journaling opportunity. Journaling Day 36 April 15 1. Who is the wisest person you have ever known? What made that person so wise for you? 2. What part of the Bible has given you the most wisdom? Why? 3. Solomon asked God for wisdom to guide his people. Write your own prayer to God asking Him for wisdom. Be as specific as possible in your prayer.
Since the wise have rejected the word of the Lord, what wisdom is in them?
Jeremiah 8:9
Where is the one who is wise? Where is the scholar? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?
1 Corinthians 1:20
Lord of wisdom, you are wise and wonderful. You give me the gift of wisdom, but in suffering I learn reliance on your truth. Though I have gained knowledge in books and experience, I cannot achieve what is needed for salvation. Forgive me. Lead me into the knowledge of you that sets me free from false teaching. Amen.
