LORD, let me know my end, and what is the measure of my days; let me know how fleeting my life is.
Psalm 39:4
We know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 Corinthians 5:1
Lord God, I don't know when my fleeting days will end, but you do. Thank you for the gift of living meaningfully in my earthly tent. Rather than wasting time, help me make today count. Show me how to leave a legacy of your grace. And Lord, when my life ends, I look forward to being welcomed home. Amen.
