The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23
Eternal God, sometimes I'm haunted by fear of retribution for what I've done and not done. But into this dark place you send Jesus, who welcomes me into forever life with him. All life becomes an abundant gift with no wages given or withheld. Thank you for banishing the power of death. Let me spread the good news. Amen.
