IRISHCAST God's Blessings through Distress (Ps 107 v10,13,15_ Matt 5v10)
Some sat in darkness and in gloom, prisoners in misery and in irons. Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. Let them thank the LORD for his steadfast love, for his wonderful works to humankind.

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

My Savior, I praise you for your steadfast love and kindness. When I am troubled, you hear my cries of distress. You free me from my prisons of anxiety, hurt, fear, and sorrow. You draw me close and give me peace. I can confidently face persecution or trials, for you are my strength and my song. Amen.
