God has destined us not for wrath but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us.
1 Thessalonians 5:9-10
My heart is filled with gratitude and praise, Lord Jesus. You do not rebuke me or discipline me in anger. Instead, you take my sin upon yourself and declare me holy and blameless. I am unworthy of your grace. May your gift soften my heart. Move me to truly forgive others as you have forgiven me. Amen.
