Jeff discusses life as a First-Generation Immigrant from China to the United States with college students who have attended the Chinese Lutheran Church, Honolulu, Hawaii. They discuss the initial challenges each had to overcome living in a new culture with new language. Most of them were able to adapt to their new environment because of the church. It was a cross-cultural gathering place but the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ united them and offered loving care and support.
