(Good Shepherd) (Carmelcast) Heard Unity (Isaiah 56:8; Matthew 24:14)

Mount Carmel is space of grace that is created by the promises of Jesus, our Good Shepherd. The buildings you see in this photo will be filled to overflowing in a few days by hundreds of adults and kids coming from all over the country for a special reunion. These people are the body of Christ spread out over all the earth but returning for a week of renewal with others seeking this same goal. Jesus creates the spirit of unity through His life, death and resurrection. He fills our lives with His abounding fullness. The people coming back to this community shaped under the grace of our Lord have tasted this unity and want to have that flavor of grace restored in their souls. So there is a reunion spirit that draws the people seeking again the special unity that we have in Jesus Christ.

Old Testament Verse

Prayer

Lord God, thank you for the hopeful vision of you gathering all your people, including those who still need to hear of your grace. I am sorry that I do not always joyfully share this good news. Open my heart to love your world. Loosen my lips to testify to your kingdom. Help me to work until the end. Amen.
