(Sundaycast) The Power To Love With Self Discipline (Psalm 29:11; 2 Tim 1:7) (Trust)

Hilde’s drawing helps us capture the connection that the gifts that our God gives us are a result of Jesus’ death on the cross. Power, love and self-discipline all flow from the cross of Christ. So just as certainly as Christ has died for you so surely have you received these three gifts from your Lord. Share with someone today how these gifts have been helping you as you follow Jesus. And ask that person how they have found these gifts to be true for themselves.

Prayer

Mighty God, I am grateful for the promised spirit power and love that has been poured into me. Forgive my timidity when invited to share your good news with others. Make me bold in living out the gospel in all the places you send me. Trusting in your strength, I will tell others of your great love. Amen.
