(Irishcast) Be Exalted, O Lord ( Ps 21v13 Luke 19v37) (Sovereignty)

From the Mount of Olives, Jesus went into Jerusalem riding on the colt of a donkey. This procession was surrounded by people praising God and declaring all the wondrous things Jesus had done. In 2019, this photo was taken of believers from Brazil singing as they marched down the hill in remembrance of Christ’s procession on Palm Sunday. They were wildly praising our God. Let us express our faith in Jesus by praising God and declaring what He has done for us.

Old Testament Verse

Be exalted, O Lord, in your strength! We will sing and praise your power.
Psalm 21:13

New Testament Verse

Now as Jesus was approaching the path down from the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to praise God joyfully with a loud voice for all the deeds of power that they had seen.
Luke 19:37

Prayer

What a joy it is to praise you, Lord Jesus, for all you have done for me! Shouts of joy come from the depths of my soul as I give thanks for salvation. Like the crowd who welcomed you, I easily turn away. Forgive me. Remind me of your forgiveness and help me sing of your saving power. Amen.
