Remember prisoners (Proverbs 31:8; Hebrew 13:3)
Speak out for those who cannot speak, for the rights of all the destitute.
Proverbs 31:8
Remember those who are in prison, as though you were in prison with them; those who are being tortured, as though you yourselves were being tortured.
Hebrews 13:3
God of mercy, I am tempted to ignore those who suffer in this world. I seek my own comfort above all else. Forgive my wretched sin. Open my ears to the cry of the destitute. Open my lips to testify to their unjust suffering. Use me today for your will to be done on earth as in heaven. Amen.
