It’s not for children anymore! God calls all of us to bless Him as long as we live. One way to do this is to lift up your hands and call out His name. This way of praising God may not be comfortable for you but there is freedom in worshipping God with your mind, your spirit and your body. Many years ago I heard that the African definition of a white person is someone who can “sing without dancing.” Today there may be a way for you to express this way of praising your God. Look for an opportunity from God to bless His name today.
I will bless you as long as I live; I will lift up my hands and call on your name.
Psalm 63:4
All the people saw him walking and praising God.
Acts 3:9
Faithful God, thank you for your love. I am sorry that the momentary burdens of my body and soul cause me to turn in upon myself. Help me to keep faith during those times, knowing I have experienced the goodness of your gifts of life and mercy. Grant that my life may declare your power to save. Amen.
