Prayer

Loving God, you show us in your Son Jesus that you would rather die than use violence against us. I confess I want you to hate the same people I do. I know you don't, but I am sometimes controlled by this desire. Change my appetite to love praiseworthy acts. May my mouth taste and proclaim your gentle grace. Amen.
