IRISHCAST Listening to the Lord (Isa 48v17_ Luke 10v39)
I am the LORD your God, who teaches you for your own good, who leads you in the way you should go.
Isaiah 48:17
Mary sat at the Lord's feet and listened to what he was saying.
Luke 10:39
I praise you today because you are God and Lord of all. Forgive me when I try to lord it over others. Open my ears and lead me in the way I should go. Open my lips to speak out for the good of those who suffer. Lord, have mercy on us all and especially when we cause suffering. Amen.
