(Mission Cast) Growing Deeper Roots (Psalm 25:3; Luke 18:3) (Discipleship)
Jeff and Mim today are at Simple Cafe, a local coffee shop, in an attempt to quietly witness to the gospel of Jesus Christ by discussing the Daily Texts in a public place using normal voices, just as if we were discussing the weather. We apologize for the background noises of a coffee shop. Let us know if this is too distracting. We can go back to a quieter place. Today we discuss a process of restoration when we fall (cf. Luke 8:13) during a time of testing and how we might better strengthen and grow our roots (cf. Luke 8:13) to better prepare for the next time. Our security is that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus and that nothing can separate us from God’s love — not even our failures — through Jesus Christ’s atoning sacrifice for our sins on the cross.
