What surrounds you? Today’s promise declares that you are surrounded with the steadfast love of God. This love is found throughout the Old Testament. It is spelled “hesed” when you use our English alphabet. This love creates the peace that passes all human understanding in Philippians 4:7. It is the power that Paul wanted Timothy to be controlled by in his message in 2 Timothy 1:7 that we saw on Sunday. When you find yourself in trouble keep declaring to yourself the word that this promise affirms, “I am surrounded by the special love of God for His precious children. Nothing will separate me from His love.” Rest in the embrace of grace from the arms of God surround you.
Steadfast love surrounds those who trust in the Lord.
Psalm 32:10
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all the saints.
Revelation 22:21
Lord, your love is like a goose-feathered blanket on a cold night that surrounds me and keeps me warm. I am mindful that there are many who shiver in the cold of life because they do not know your grace and mercy. Help me to be the comforter of your love to share your grace with others. Amen.
