(Mission Cast) Our Redeemer Frees Us (Isaiah57:16; 1 John 2:1) (Forgiveness)

Jeff and Mim discuss advocacy, “Who supports and speaks in behalf of sinners?” We are thankful that the answer is Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. His shed blood on the cross has atoned for the sins of the world and of sinners throughout all generations. There is now nothing that obstructs us from God, the Father. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. The way is clear to God’s love. There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus; no one can bring any accusation against us; and, nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. We are redeemed. Our apologies for the lateness of this mission cast release. We are visiting my father in Hood River, Of course, as Johan has already declared to us, “Jeff, you are forgiven” Amen!!

Prayer

God of creation, your holy law maintains the good order of all you have made. In my sin, I know and feel the sting of this law. Turn aside from your anger, even though I deserve nothing better. Thank you for your Son, Jesus Christ, who advocates on my behalf. May I be an advocate for those without voices. Amen.
