Happy are the people whose God is the LORD.
Psalm 144:15
The same Lord is Lord of all and is generous to all who call on him.
Romans 10:12
Forgive me, Lord, for seeking happiness in all the wrong places. Such attempts are futile, for true joy comes only from you. To my constant surprise, this joy is always available, an ever-flowing stream welling up from my baptism. Make me aware again of your generosity, that I might be joyful in my generous response to your grace. Amen.
