(Alyssa Missionary Challenge) Jesus Uses Our Loaves And Our Fish (Ps 119:82; Hebrews 4:16)

Alyssa Morria shares her vision for her mission work. She has been engaged in missionary service since 2016. Now she is entering a new arena of service for our Lord in Jordan and in Egypt. We encourage all of you who listen today to consider what your calling is to your mission where you live. We also invite you to consider supporting Alyssa in her training to be a servant of our Lord in Jordan and in Egypt. “ I found out near the end of August that I was accepted and will be going to the Middle East! I will be going to Jordan and Egypt, October 9th - December 4th, and will potentially be going on a two week outreach to another nation afterwards! More details to come about that! In the spring of this year, I was sitting with the Lord, feeling like I did not have a lot to give Him right now, but told Him that what I did have, I would give to Him. Just like the little boy with the five loaves and two fish when Jesus feeds the 5,000, that I was willing to give Him what was in my hands. The Lord began speaking to me over and over again about giving Him my loaves and fish, and without going into too many details of the story because this post would be way too long, this is how I knew that He was inviting me into Harvest School! This is a school that equips and trains people to be laid down lovers of Jesus and to go wherever He leads them to see people saved, healed, delivered and set free by the truth of the gospel and the power of the Holy Spirit. I feel so honored that God would ask me to be a part of something so special and feel so expectant for what God will do in my heart and in the nations!”

Old Testament Verse

My eyes fail with watching for your promise; I ask, "When will you comfort me?"
Psalm 119:82

New Testament Verse

Let us therefore approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Hebrews 4:16

Prayer

My Lord, I confess to being a very needy person. I fail, fall, and come up short before you more often than I care to admit. I openly declare my need of you today. My heart runs to you now as I need all the merciful help I can get! May my pleas for strength become blessings to others. Amen.
