(Mission Cast) God Does Not Spurn Us! He Loves Us! (Jeremiah 14:21; Romans 11:2)

In this Mission Cast, Jeff & Mim, explore the concept of “spurning one another,” which is rejecting a person or idea with disdain or contempt, judging them to be irrelevant or inappropriate.   All of us, at one point in our lives have experience rejection … and it hurts.   The enemy, Satan, who is the Father of Lies, seeks to deceive us in ways that kill, maim and destroy our soul and relationship with a Loving Father.  We can train our souls, just like we do our bodies, to listen to Shepherd’s Voice, to discover who we are in God’s eyes and hearts.  You will be delighted to know that you are dearly loved.  You are his beloved!   When we train our souls, we experience a transformation in our perspectives.  We grow more compassionate and loving, just like Jesus Christ, in our interactions with others.   Be blessed as you journey this day in mission to bring the love of Jesus Christ to others in this world!  — Jeff & Mim.

Old Testament Verse

Do not spurn us, for your name's sake; do not dishonor your glorious throne.
Jeremiah 14:21

New Testament Verse

God has not rejected his people whom he foreknew.
Romans 11:2

Prayer

Healing God, in misery, I misinterpret pain as rejection. Correct my vision and gird up my faith to know you have a greater plan. I can always turn to you in pain and find healing in unexpected ways. Instead of rejection, I receive acceptance. I am assured of being known by the One who created me in love. Amen.
