Last night we enjoyed a two hour cruise on the Bosphorus, the body of water that divides Asia from Europe and also connects ships to the Black Sea from the Aegean Sea. It is a marvelous gift of God in that it brings together so much of the world in one little body of water. Members of our tour group were sitting on the upper level of the boat when they were photographed. They are from left to right, Dan, Louise, (Rowena…our tour organizer whom we met today) Nancy, Sandy, Frank, Paul, Linda, Deb, and Dianne. Thank you to all of who are speaking to God on our behalf while we are on this special tour. Dan and Louise have to return to Arizona today due to health reasons which Dan suffered from on Saturday. We are sorry to see them leave but glad they received excellent health care before departure. We are blessed to have you interceding for us for the sake of others. Thank you.
Let me take it upon myself to speak to my lord, I who am but dust and ashes.
Genesis 18:27
She said, "Yes, Lord, yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters' table." Then Jesus answered her, "Woman, great is your faith! Let it be done for you as you wish."
Matthew 15:27-28
Lord you are helping me understand that I am much more than dust and ashes and worth more than crumbs under a table! Truly I have lived far below my spiritual privileges. Thank you for calling and lifting me higher. Commission me as one of your priests to serve you and others. Amen.
