IRISHCAST Humble & Lowly (Zeph 3v12; 1 Cor 1 v28,29
I will leave among you a humble and lowly people, and they will take refuge in the name of the LORD.

God chose what is low and despised in the world, things that are not, to reduce to nothing things that are, so that no one might boast in the presence of God.

Jesus, thank you for helping me to see the true wisdom that comes through knowing and following you. Forgive me for despising the pain of correction. I think it leaves me looking foolish. You meet me in that moment and place me on a new path guided by your wisdom. Bring new insight to those struggling today. Amen.
