God humbles to help us (Dan 4:35; 1 Peter 5:6)
He does what he wills with the host of heaven and the inhabitants of the earth. There is no one who can stay his hand or say to him, "What are you doing?"
Daniel 4:35
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, so that he may exalt you in due time.
1 Peter 5:6
Almighty God, thank you that I can count on you to handle and manage all the majors and the minors in the world, including my little life! Forgive me for allowing my will to become bigger than yours and question your ways. Teach me to love and embrace humility and to live that way before you and others. Amen.
