Trust and Light (Job 3:20-21, Heb, 2:8)
Why is light given to one in misery, and life to the bitter in soul, who long for death, but it does not come?
Job 3:20-21
As it is, we do not yet see everything in subjection to them.
Hebrews 2:8
Lord, thank you for your light that continues to shine. You are present even in my most bitter moments. I don't always understand your purposes, but I rejoice that you have a purpose. No misery can change your love for me. I cry out for your presence today. Keep me subject to your will and to my neighbor's need. Amen.
