Seek To Fight The Good Fight Of Faith (Hosea 3:5; Matthew 7:8)

Veteran’s Day gives us opportunities to consider how we can make a difference for the soldiers who have served in our armed forces. What can you learn today about the needs of veterans who live near you? Take time to learn about their needs. A few friends of mine want to see how an outreach to patients at the Minneapolis VA hospital could be created that would provide words of encouragement with Bible study. Please pray for this opportunity of ministry to become a reality. And ask, seek and knock to see what our Lord may want you to do.

Prayer

Thank you for opening doors for me with your redeeming love. I'm sorry when I ask, search, and knock and expect the door to fly open. Grow my patience and trust that the door will open in your perfect timing. Today as we celebrate our veterans who ask, search, and knock, we honor their service and sacrifices for freedom. Amen.
