Repentance and renewal (Ezekiel 14:6; Romans 12:2)
Thus says the Lord God: Repent and turn away from your idols.
Ezekiel 14:6
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Romans 12:2
Forgiving Father, thank you for your clear instructions about idols of this world and how I should respond. I regret my actions are not acceptable, and these distractions separate me from you. Nurture in me a spirit of discerning obedience to your teachings. Renew my zeal for living inspired by what you are doing for me in Jesus' name. Amen.
