Gracious God, thank you for hope grounded in your steadfast love. Have mercy on me when I rely on things that seem trustworthy but crumble under pressure. My greatest desire is to know you more and grow in faith through hearing your word. Help me choose daily to trust in you alone so others will have hope. Amen.
