(Discipleship) Holy Spirit Empowers Ministry (Numbers 11:29; Acts 1:8) (Service)

The Discipleship House offers us a recipe for pecan bars which is included in the prayer journal notes for today. But more than that these students give us God’s recipe for living under the power of the Holy Spirit. As you listen today, may your body, spirit and soul be stimulated to devour God’s word so that you may be filled with the fullness of God in all you do. And they try making the pecan bars so you have one more thing to share with someone you meet today.

Prayer

Thank you, Lord, for the gift of your Holy Spirit. I admit that I sometimes run ahead and do things on my own. Please help me to wait and to listen for your clear guidance. Then I can accomplish your plans and purposes for me in the timing and power of your Spirit. Amen.
