(Theta) Children (Deuteronomy 31:13 & Ephesians 6:4) (Shepherd’s Voice)

Our Heavenly Father is committed to bringing us up in the discipline and instruction that God knows we need. How does God use our circumstances and the people around us to accomplish this? As you walk through each day, consider the many ways that your God is leading you and guiding you. Also how correction happens for you. For we know from John 15:1-7, that the Trinity is intimately involved in all our growing under grace. And these discoveries do not come with a warning, as my mom used to say, “God’s middle name is surprise!”

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I am grateful for people who have led, taught, and mentored me in my faith walk. I am sorry for missed opportunities to share the good news of Jesus. Empower me to point children and adults to Christ, who will feed their hungry spirits. Lead them in the discipline and instruction of our Lord. Amen.
