IRISHCAST Forgiveness and Violence (Isa 60v18_ 2 Pet 3v13)
Violence shall no more be heard in your land, devastation or destruction within your borders; you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.

Healer of Nations, you call us to live in peace and good will. Forgive me for insisting on my own way. Lead me to practice the love for others that you (and I!) long to see. Help me to put away thoughts of revenge or violence. Instead, through your presence, let me seek reconciliation in all my encounters. Amen
