O Lord, all my longing is known to you; my sighing is not hidden from you.

And this is the boldness we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

Jesus, forgive me for talking over your still, small voice. Today I will pause to hear you. You know me and how hard of hearing I am. Thank you for holding my tongue so that I can learn your language of grace. As I speak, let me form words of "us and we" and not just "me and mine." Amen.
