THETA Waiting (Psalm 97:11; May 25:1-2)
Light dawns for the righteous, and joy for the upright in heart.
Psalm 97:11
Then the kingdom of heaven will be like this: Ten bridesmaids took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish, and five were wise.
Matthew 25:1-2
Lord, you know easily distracted I am. Like the foolish bridesmaids I expend my attention on the trivial and deem everything important. As a result, I have nothing to give by day's end. Forgive me for rushing past you. Grant me wisdom to slow down. Teach me to reserve your sabbath portion every day. Amen.
