Blessed Lord, I praise you for lifting up the humble and bringing down those who trust their own power. I confess that I am one who ignores those who appear lowly, dismissing them as unimportant. Forgive me. Help me to see you in them. For you humbled yourself and came down to be God with us, even lowly me. Amen.
