God is not a human being, that he should lie, or a mortal, that he should change his mind.
Numbers 23:19
As surely as God is faithful, our word to you has not been "Yes and No." For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, whom we proclaimed among you, Silvanus and Timothy and I, was not "Yes and No"; but in him it is always "Yes."
2 Corinthians 1:18-19
Eternal Yes, I thank you and your Son Jesus Christ, for your steadfast faithfulness revealed both in his humanity and divinity. Forgive me as I so easily change my mind about the depth of your love. Yet your mind is made up. You affirm me as your beloved child. Let my words today proclaim your yes in Christ. Amen.
