Deliverance from Fear (Ps.34:4; Luke1:13)
I sought the Lord, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.
Psalm 34:4
The angel said to him, "Do not be afraid, Zechariah, for your prayer has been heard."
Luke 1:13
God of unimagined glory, your word says that in Christ all your promises are yes. Yet I confess that in the face of life's overwhelming challenges I often have fear, not confidence. When I cannot release my fears, help me to act in spite of them, trusting in your mercy and power, for you are my loving God. Amen.
