Whose voice is Lord over you (1 Samuel 12:15; James 1:25)
If you do not listen to the voice of the Lord, then the hand of the Lord will be against you, as it was against your fathers.

But those who look into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and persevere, being not hearers who forget but doers who act-they will be blessed in their doing.

Lord, how blessed am I that you speak to me. I confess that your words go in one ear and out the other. Help me listen to you. Give me a new heart that lives by your promises. Make me willing to persevere in your word and act upon it, so that I may be a blessing. Amen.
