I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the LORD have spoken, and I have done it.

Holy Lord, thank you for placing your life-giving Spirit within me. I often mistake real freedom as living according to my own spirit. But then I am captive to myself. Come, Holy Spirit. Resettle my heart in the promised land of your forgiving presence. My true freedom comes only from being known by you. Amen.
