IRISHCAST You are beloved (Jer 31v28; James 5v7)
Just as I have watched over them to pluck up and break down, so I will watch over them to build and to plant, says the Lord.
Jeremiah 31:28
Be patient, therefore, beloved, until the coming of the Lord. The farmer waits for the precious crop from the earth, being patient with it until it receives the early and the late rains.
James 5:7
God of unending blessing, thank you that in Christ you have planted good seed in the world and in history. Now help me to be patient, like a wise farmer, as I look forward to the great harvest. Let no irritable or unworthy thoughts sway me from my hope and faith in your good work. Amen.
