Lord, with each new day I see your wondrous light shining on me. May your dawning light be bright enough to end my night of despair and gloom. Forgive me for rehearsing my suffering, as if there's a reward for this. Remind me that even when dark clouds block the sun, a new dawn is coming. Amen.
