(Mission Cast) Who Do You Seek (Amos 6:4; John 6:68)

This LENT we are providing a daily (Monday-Saturday) journaling opportunity. You are welcome to print this page or write the questions into your journal. Please let us know what you think of this idea of having journaling as a way to deepen your “Daily Texts” practice. Perhaps you know someone with whom you can share your responses. Thus saith the Lord: Seek me and live. Amos 5:4 Simon Peter answered Jesus, “Lord, to whom can we go? You have the words of eternal life.” John 6:68 JOURNALING Day 4 What is the quality of your life at this moment? What do you need to be truly satisfied, to feel safe and secure? What have you tried in the past (or sought) to experience more life? How far did these things last for you? How does Jesus give you abundant life that endures unto eternity? What is the nature and character of this type of life? What is God saying to do and what action of obedience do you need to take in response to your Lord?

Prayer

Jesus, loving friend, there is nowhere to go but to you. I have tried other paths. They are deadends. You are the true way, my life's direction. Thank you for inviting me to look for you and be found in the light of your promises. Lord, let me reflect your light today onto the path of another forgiven seeker. Amen.
