(Sundaycast) Our Lord Is Leading You (Exodus 13:21; John 5:39) (Guidance)

The promise God made to lead and to guide His people was revealed in the cloud and in the fire. God knows what we need and when we need His help. God keeps His promises to us. He is faithful. Jesus reveals this in His talks to his followers. He says, “ I am with you always” and He will help us in all things to know and to trust Him. Look to Jesus. He can keep His promises to you. Because, nothing can stop Him. He is our risen Lord who has broken the power of death.

Old Testament Verse

The Lord went in front of them in a pillar of cloud by day, to lead them along the way, and in a pillar of fire by night, to give them light.
Exodus 13:21

New Testament Verse

Jesus said, "You search the scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life, and it is they that testify on my behalf."
John 5:39

Prayer

God of cloud and fire, I stand in awe of your presence, a mighty pillar of cloud. You are there for me to know. Yet I often search blindly and fail to comprehend your grace. As you led your people Israel to new life, so lead me along your way, night and day, to eternal life in Christ Jesus. Amen.
