(Carmelcast) Jesus Values Your Surrender (Jeremiah 17:14; Luke 5:24 25) (Sovereignty)

Mount Carmel creates community under the grace of Jesus Christ. In today’s healing verse, friends of the sick man had to surrender their mission to heal their friend by lowering him through the ceiling. They had to surrender to God’s grace. When you come to Mount Carmel you have to surrender your “do your own thing” mindset to the mind of Christ. Jesus heals you from your need to control by helping you surrender to His grace. All the people in the photo are smiling because of the joy a surrendered week at Mount Carmel creates. Plan to join them some day.

Prayer

Jesus, you speak, and your words become reality. I am grateful that you speak wholeness, forgiveness, and salvation into a new reality for me. Since I fall short and am broken, I need to hear and embody your good news. Re-create me in your image and make me whole. I will share your healing love with all the world. Amen.
